Ana Reed is the Controller and Head of Fund Management at Skytale Group. Ana is a CPA and is a private equity accounting professional with prior operational, compliance, and tax experience. Internally, Ana oversees accounting and operational processes related to financial reporting for Skytale Group and Skytale Capital, investor reporting, compliance and regulatory reporting, investor relations, and investment due diligence.

Ana previously worked at CFGI, a Carlyle and CVC Capital backed accounting advisory firm, where she was a leader in the investment management practice. While at CFGI, Ana worked hands on with their largest private equity clients, including TPG and Hellman & Friedman, to help meet their fund accounting and operational needs.

Prior to CFGI, Ana worked at Elm Park Capital Management, a private credit focused investment firm, for ten years. Ana performed fund and management company financial reporting, budgeting, fund forecasting and modeling, regulatory compliance, tax reporting compliance, investor tracking and reporting, loan servicing, investment performance monitoring, and marketing.

Ana previously worked in public accounting as a risk and assurance senior auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. During her time in public accounting, Ana worked with clients in the private equity, technology services, retail, building materials, security and aerospace, and other industries.

Ana received a B.B.A. in Accounting and M.S. degree in Management Information Systems from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University where she graduated with honors.

Outside the office, Ana enjoys spending time with family and friends and riding her Peloton indoor cycling bike. She has two daughters with her husband and also volunteers her time at her daughter’s school, St. Monica School. She also enjoys vacationing with her family during the summer, preferably at the beach.
