Ben Hernandez is CEO and Managing Director at Skytale Group. As the firm’s CEO, he oversees Skytale’s strategy and growth while working with the leadership team in setting the firm’s values, vision and culture. Ben also advises a variety of specialty healthcare clients in mergers and acquisitions, private capital raising alternatives and strategic management consulting. As founder of Skytale Group, Ben is passionate about leading an organization that people are proud to work with as well as proud to work for.

Ben provides the firm and his clients with extensive experience. Regarded as an industry expert, he is often invited to speak at conferences where he provides attendees with thought leadership and insights related to their organizations. He and all the Skytale team are committed to helping growth-minded business owners in the healthcare industry by equipping them with the information, perspective and guidance needed to achieve lasting value. Ben believes the ultimate reward is to see his clients achieve their dreams, aspirations, and visions.

Prior to founding Skytale, Ben led a consulting division at an advisory firm with a focus on healthcare businesses. Throughout his career he held roles as an investment banker at an international investment banking group, spent a number of years at a global hedge fund, and served as an analyst at a financial services and advisory institution. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for C5 Texas, a foundation with a mission to change the odds for high potential youth, and actively volunteers his time to St. Monica School.

Outside the office, Ben enjoys running, biking, reading non-fiction, and spending time with his family and friends. Each summer, he, his wife, and his two children enjoy taking family trips together. Ben received his B.B.A. in Finance from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M and MBA from Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
